data protection
To organize the regatta, we process personal data in a participant database, which the regatta participants transmit to us with their registration / registration for the regatta. This is the following data:
• Name and address of the skipper
• Skipper's email and phone number
• Boat type, sail number and some technical boat data
The e-mail or telephone number of the skipper is used to transmit information relevant to the event. The skipper's address is recorded for liability reasons. The report is made via radiosailing.de
We would like to enable reporting via radiosailing.de as a service. You agree that the MYC-Munich / VdMYS accepts the data transmitted with the registration into the participant database. For technical reasons, MYC-Munich cannot prevent a registration list from being displayed on radiosailing.de. radiosailing.de is responsible for the data stored on radiosailing.de.
In the course of conducting the regatta, results, mathematical and optical evaluations, position tracking, also in the form of race analyses, are assigned to the participants and made publicly accessible, e.g. in the form of start/participant and result lists posted on the board at the regatta site on the MYC-Munich website. On www.myc-muenchen.de the results and entry lists are also published in the form of PDF documents.
As part of reporting on the regatta, MYC-Munich publishes personal data, texts, photos and films of the regatta participants on its homepage, in social media and, if necessary, transmits this data to print and telemedia as well as electronic media for sports reporting. This applies in particular to start, participant and result lists of the regatta. In addition to photos and films, the publication/transmission of data is limited to name, club affiliation and - if necessary for sporting reasons - age or year of birth.
Participants can object to the publication of individual photos of themselves by the organizing club at any time. Once the objection has been received, the publication/transmission will cease and the association will remove existing photos from its homepage and social media.
By registering for the regatta and the associated acknowledgment of the rules and this data protection notice, the regatta participants agree to the collection, processing (storage, modification, transmission) and use of their personal data to the aforementioned extent and scope. The organizing club is only permitted to use the data in any other way if it is obliged to do so for legal reasons. A data sale is not permitted.
Within the framework of the legal provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the Federal Data Protection Act, every regatta participant has the right to information about the data stored about him/her, its recipient and the purpose of the storage as well as to correction, deletion or blocking of this Data. In addition, he or she has the right to revoke consent to the collection, processing and use of this data at any time with effect for the future and to contact the competent supervisory authority. After the regatta has been completed, the personal data will be deleted again. The result lists of the regatta are archived for sporting purposes.
